XIMI Scholarships Criteria and Process

Xavier Institute of Management and Informatics (XIMI), Jaipur offers Institutional Scholarships for students of all disciplines in every new session. Eligible students can also avail Central & State Governments’ Scholarships through their respective web portals. However, they are only eligible to avail one type of scholarship.

MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Merit-based Scholarships are awarded to deserving students based on their academic performance, conduct, attendance, compassion, and discretion.

To be eligible for the Merit-based Scholarship, please consider the following instructions:

  • It is mandatory to pay the fees for both the first and second semesters.
  • The Scholarship Application must be submitted according to the College’s notice.
  • Valid proofs/documents from the respective college/university must be submitted along with the application.
  • In the first year, the scholarship will be awarded based on the percentage obtained in the Qualifying Exam for the MBA/MCA Programme.
  • In the second year of the MBA/MCA Programme, the scholarship will be awarded based on the total marks obtained in the internal examinations of the first and second semesters, and 75% Attendance in the classes.
  • A 50% reduction in tuition fees will be granted, as stated below:

NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Need-based Scholarships are awarded to deserving students based on their financial need, academic performance, conduct, attendance, compassion, and discretion.

To be eligible for the Need-based Scholarship, please consider the following instructions:

  • It is mandatory to pay the fees for both the first and second semesters.
  • The Scholarship Application must be completed and submitted according to the College’s notice.
  • Family Income less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum (Minimum income slab as prescribed by Central Government).
  • Income certificates/proofs must be submitted along with the application.
  • Applicants should have maintained at least 75 % attendance in the classes.
  • A 50% reduction in tuition fees will be granted.
  • The final decision will be made by the College Management.

JXEA CHRISTIAN MINORITY-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Being a Christian Minority Jesuit College, JXEA Scholarships to Christian/Catholic students are offered.

To be eligible for this Scholarship, please consider the following instructions:

  • It is mandatory to pay the fees for both the first and second semesters.
  • The Scholarship Application must be submitted according to the College’s notice.
  • Family income less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum (Minimum income slab as prescribed by Central Government).
  • Valid Recommendation letter from Parish Priest/Bishops/Letter approved by Church and Income certificate/proofs must be submitted along with the application.
  • Applicants should have maintained at least 75% attendance in the classes and training programs.
  • Up to 75% reduction in tuition fees will be given.
  • The final decision will be made by the College Management.
  • Such candidates cannot avail the benefits of any other scholarship scheme if he/she obtains benefits from JXEA-scholarships.


SPORTS SCHOLARSHIPS

At the time of admission only, the concession on tuition fees will be given as per the management's decision.


SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS OF ST XAVIER’S COLLEGE AND OTHER JESUIT COLLEGES

Students of St. Xavier's College, Jaipur and other Jesuit institutions all over India can avail concession on caution money, as per the management's decision.

APPLICATION PROCESS

 
  • Students must fulfil the required criteria for availing scholarships and submit all scholarship/fee concession applications and Affidavits for Non-Receipt of Scholarship in hard copy to their Class Mentors along with all necessary documents.
  • Only properly filled application forms received from Class Mentors within the designated deadline will be considered for scholarships. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Class Mentors will verify the Attendance and Performance, which will then be confirmed by the respective Heads of Departments.
  • All Department Scholarship Applications should be forwarded to the Scholarship Committee for approval from the Management.
